Greek author Sophocles wrote: "Without labor nothing prospers."
Labor Day is a special occasion to honor and pay tribute to all the workers in our country who work hard and have contributed so much to our economy and society. It is a well-deserved tribute to their hard work and dedication. Here are six messages you can gain inspiration from to send on Labor Day to your happy workers:
Some folks don't get the day off.
Medical staff and emergency responders, firefighters, and police just to name a few.
Include farmers, certain public service and utility workers, and maintenance workers as well. There's also the retail workers who are there to help you when you run out of sauce for your barbecue or need fuel to run out and pick up Aunt Emma.
There are many more that we must not forget. Like those who must work through the holiday so others can enjoy their day off.
For those with a day off and those without, the message is the same; from the staff at the Town and Country, have a safe and happy Labor Day.
To those working, we hope your day is quiet and uneventful and that you have a chance to take a day off later in the week.
Most important, know that you are appreciated.
