The valuable contributions of business, education and community leaders were celebrated at the Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber's 25th Community & Commerce Awards Celebration. Held on June 16 at Perkiomen School, the event was an inspiring reminder of what can be accomplished when a community works together.

            Awards were presented to the following recipients by the individuals who nominated them: PerkUp Award for Education – Dr. Andrea Farina, Upper Perkiomen School District; Outstanding Small Business Award – Larry Roeder, Town and Country Newspaper; and Wallace H. Bieler Distinguished Leadership Award – Senator Bob Mensch. The award recipients were also recognized with legislative citations and congratulatory remarks from the legislative offices representing the Upper Perkiomen Valley.

            The Chamber congratulates the award recipients and has an abundance of appreciation for the generous support of the Community & Commerce sponsors – PECO, QNB Bank and the Upper Perkiomen Valley YMCA.
