Marion End

            Marion End, of Pennsburg PA, passed away June 5, 2022, at the age of 93 in

the Harrison House in Georgetown, DE.  She was born to the late Norman and Grace Peters on August 7, 1928, in Allentown, PA where she lived until her marriage.

            Marion graduated from Allentown High School where she was a member of the Zeta Gama Phi Sorority. After graduation she was employed in the offices of Westinghouse, Germantown Lincoln Mercury, and Honeywell.

            She married Joseph H End, Jr in 1950 at Trinity Evangelical & Reformed Church where her father was choir master, and her mother sang in the choir. The couple resided in Perkiomenville, PA where they raised three children. Marion was always known for her outgoing nature and service to the community. She was a member of the GFWC Women's Civic club of Schwenksville for 45 years serving as treasurer for many of those years.

            During retirement, Marion and her husband traveled the world including Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Israel, India and more. After her husband passed in 2005, she moved into The Vineyards community in Pennsburg, PA where she quickly began working to help and contribute to her new community.

            She was a key organizer for many events including, ice cream socials, community trips, Redner's Tapes, and the craft show. In her quiet time, she enjoyed sewing and crafting. In her later years friends and family were honored on special occasions with beautiful, hand embellished greeting cards. Each card a work of art designed with a special person in mind.

            She is survived by her son, Joseph H End, III of Chester Springs, PA; her daughters Greta and her husband William Colgan of Wilmington, DE, and Lise and her husband Jim Watson of Chicago, IL; and her grandson, Sean Colgan and his wife Danielle of Rehoboth Beach, DE.

            Marion and her husband will be interred at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in a private ceremony for Marion's immediate family.  A Celebration of Marion's Life has been scheduled for June 23, 2022.
