Raymond T. Bringhurst
2022-05-23

            Raymond T. Bringhurst, 73, of Macungie passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, 

in his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the husband of Mary J. (Moyer) Bringhurst. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary last November.

            Ray was born in Philadelphia. He was the son of the late Raymond J. Bringhurst and Helen M. (Bradley) Bringhurst Walters and Robert L. Walters.

            He was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School Class of 1967. Ray was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam era.

            He was employed as a lineman for PPL for 39 years before retiring in 2011. Ray enjoyed riding his Harley, traveling and family vacations.

            Survivors: Wife; daughters, Tricia Bringhurst of Monroe, GA, Cathy Tittermary and her husband Joe of Macungie; grandsons, Brayden, Connor, Everett, Gavin; brothers, John Bringhurst and his wife Susan of Pennsburg, Bobby Walters of Alburtis, Tom Walters and his wife Gerri of East Norriton; sisters, Betsy and her husband Phil Kresge of Macungie, Barb and her partner Michelle Hibbs of Iowa. He was predeceased by his sister Carol Bringhurst.

            Services: Private at the convenience of the family.
