Upper Perkiomen High School sophomore students had the opportunity to meet with local businesses and explore future career possibilities through the PerkUp "Pathways to Success" program on April 6 and 7.

All 17 participating businesses welcomed students to their locations in person to experience and learn about various jobs first-hand as part of the school district's ongoing career readiness efforts.
In addition to meeting potential employers, the students were able to ask questions and discover different career paths and roles they may not have known were available at certain businesses. The tours were successful and valuable, with some students connecting with businesses for summer employment opportunities.
The PerkUp "Pathways to Success" program is sponsored by Verizon. Participating businesses in 2022 were: Arbour Square, of Harleysville, Artisan Display, Inc., Bear Creek Mountain Resort & Conference Center, Bless Precision Tool, Inc., Bracalente Manufacturing Company, Inc., Gillespie Electric, Inc., Godshall's Quality Meats, Inc., Midgard, Inc., The Open Link, Perkiomen Animal Hospital, QNB Bank, Reed Sign Company, LLC, St. Luke's Penn Foundation, St. Luke's University Health Network – Quakertown|Upper Bucks Campus, Stauffer Glove & Safety, Titanium Finishing Company, and US Tape Company.
