Wendy Sue Brand Rooth
2022-03-29

            Off to Neverland…

All you need is a little faith, trust, and Pixie Dust, Wendy Sue Brand Rooth takes flight to the 2nd star to the right straight on to morning to begin her journey with Peter Pan to Neverland.

The start of her journey began on October 26, 1949 being born to Louis and Kathryn (Boucher) Brand in Philadelphia.  Attending the Abington School District most of her life until moving to "the country" where she graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1967.

Wendy married her sweetheart, "Knotty" Edward Rooth (d.1989) and had two children, Robin Rooth-Fogel (sp. Mardi) and Randall (p. Anne Luongo Mener).  Her life was dedicated to her family and friends, eventually her grandchildren:  Maizie, Trinity, Katherine, Zachary, and Benjamin.  She has many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren who were so loved.

Wendy was a world traveler, antique aficionado, reader, and gardener who loved to decorate her home with her treasures.  Many laughs and adventures were had with her older sister, Linda Kimmel. A talented artist, she attended the Sante Fe College of Art in New Mexico.  Wendy was proud of her French heritage, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and French from the Pennsylvania State University.

Please honor her journey with a donation to Logan's Hereos, 9411 Kings Highway, East Greenville, PA 18041 in lieu of flowers.

Wendy, we never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting….  So, come with me, where dreams are born and times are never planned and your heart will fly on wings.  Just think of happy things forever in, Never Neverland!
