Cardboard Sled Racers Hit the Slopes at Bear Creek Written by Photos by Steve Pestrock

Bear Creek Mountain Resort, located in Longswamp Township, hosted its' annual Spring\
Fling Cardboard box race on Sunday, March 13. Competitors used sleds build with
cardboard, duct tape, paint, and zip-ties that required a minimum of two riders. Prizes
were given for the most creative and overall fastest sled.

The Heat Busters, from Limerick, won first
place with their "Ghostbusters" themed entry.
The received a $50 gift certificate.

slide down the hill. The finished first overall in their sled
"Sea-Ya" and received a $50 gift certificate.
