Mary Jane Schaeffer, 84, of Red Hill, passed away March 4, 2022. Born in East

Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Hagenbuch) Brunner.

            Mary Jane was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School. She was an administrative assistant, first at Knoll, and then for the Upper Perkiomen School District for many years.

            In addition, Mary Jane prepared taxes for individuals throughout the Perkiomen Valley. She belonged to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Pennsburg. 

            Mary Jane enjoyed visiting the casinos, eating in fine restaurants, shopping for clothes, and collecting Precious Moments figurines.

            Surviving are children: Gordon Behm, of Wells, Maine, and Pamela Pape, of Macungie; a step-son: Lester Schaeffer; a sister: Charlotte Wieand, of McGaheysville, VA; a sister-in-law, Joan Brunner, of Palm; grandchildren: Erin, Ashleigh, and Terry; great-grandchildren: Paisley, Kinley, and Rylee; step-great-grandchildren: Kyle, & Josh; and nieces & nephews: Christine, Michael, Lori, and Kenneth. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Stanley Brunner.

            A Celebration of Life for Mary Jane will be held at a future date.
