Firm Announces Two Attorneys Joined Firm
Alexis I. Lehmann Moses M. Bates

Wolf, Baldwin & Associates, P.C. is pleased and excited to announce the addition of attorneys Alexis I. Lehmann and Moses M. Bates to the firm. The firm now has 9 attorneys. Ms. Lehmann will focus her practice on business and civil and commercial litigation, working with senior attorney Bruce L. Baldwin in the Pottstown office. Mr. Bates joins Attorney Michelle M. Forsell in the firm's Pennsburg office and will focus his practice on Estate Planning, Trusts and Estate Administration.

"It is a daunting task to recruit new attorneys," said managing attorney Levi Wolf. "We want to make sure that the attorneys we hire have solid legal skills, will fit into our firm's culture of compassion and excellence, and will be assets to both our firm and the legal community over the long term. We interviewed a number of outstanding candidates, and we are confident that Ms. Lehmann and Mr. Bates are the best choices for these practice areas in our firm."

Ms. Lehmann previously practiced law with a consumer protection firm representing individual consumers' rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, in addition to various other consumer protection laws. Prior to that, she worked as a civil litigator for local and state law enforcement officers handling cases under Title VII, The Americans With Disabilities Act, The Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the First Amendment Free Speech and Petition Clause. She has won several jury trials, most notably a $1.97 million-dollar verdict against the Pennsylvania State Police in 2014 for discrimination in employment, and violations of the First Amendment and Equal Protection clause.

Ms. Lehmann is also an active member on the Executive Board for the Justice Rising Advocates; a local committee which partners with Community Legal Services of Philadelphia to help low-income Philadelphians with various legal issues by volunteering at legal clinics, continuing legal education seminars, and other events.

Ms. Lehmann received her J.D. in 2009 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While attending law school, she received a Book Award for achieving excellence in Employment Discrimination and was an active member in the Women's Law Caucus. In 2007 she clerked for The Honorable Nicholas Tsoucalas in the New York Federal Court of International Trade, assisting in drafting opinions regarding trade adjustment benefits, countervailing duties and classifications of imported goods. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University where she was an NCAA scholarship athlete and four-time All-American.

Mr. Bates practices in the area of Wills, Trusts and Estates, and has experience in matters involving real property and planned communities, business and private litigation, landlord-tenant actions, contracts, business organization, and minor criminal matters. He graduated from Widener University School of Law, Wilmington (now Delaware Law School of Widener University) receiving his J.D. Cum Laude in 2015.

Upon graduating, he was further awarded the Pro Bono Publica Distinction, Certificate in Environmental Law, and the Charles Zencey Award in Environmental Law. Moses interned as a Legal Fellow at the Philadelphia City Solicitor's Office Water Law Division in 2015 and 2016 and was an active member of the Delaware Valley Environmental Inn of Court from 2014 to 2017. Mr. Bates is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Moses received his B.A. in English from Vermont College of Union Institute in 2009.

Wolf, Baldwin & Associates, P.C. is a general practice law firm, with offices in Pottstown, Pennsburg, Reading, and West Chester. The firm's areas of practice include Workers' Compensation, Business and Corporate Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Probate, Veterans' Benefits, Municipal Law, Real Estate, and General Civil Litigation.
