Today people seem to be consumed with rights and privileges.  Not too long ago people were more concerned about obligations and responsibilities.

On the eve of the most horrific attack on the United States that took the lives of nearly 3,000 people we look back and remember.  And, we are thankful for the heroic efforts of the day.

Just looking back to last Wednesday, we are reminded of the efforts of our first responders and others in last week's disaster brought on by the remnents of Hurricane Ida.  And, we are thankful for the heroic efforts of the day.

Obligations to protect and serve.  Responsibilities to our communities.  Wherever we can, whenever we can. We must lend a helping hand.

None of us can do it alone.

To all of the first responders, we thank you.

To all of our veterans and active duty personnell, we thank you.

To all of those who lend a helping hand during a time of need for others without hesitation, we thank you.

To all of the families whose patience and support allows the obligaions and responsibilities of their members to be fulfilled, we thank you..

To all of the woke people consumed with their rights and priviledges, you would do well to learn how to be concerned about your obligations and responsibilities.  You'll be better off for it and so will the community.

To all of the politicians and government officials, be honest and tell the truth.  When you don't, you will be caught and that lie will haunt you.  Your credibility and ability will always be in question as people wonder whether to believe you or not; regarding anything. Right now, we need truth, honest, and integrity regarding your obligations and responsibilities.

Those who shun obligations and responsibilities for rights and privileges need not my sympathy or adjulation.

Remember those who gave some, those who gave all, and those who are still giving.
