Sandra Kassel plans to leave after 38 years in the Upper Perkiomen School District. Kassel, the district's business administrator and board secretary, has submitted her intent to retire, effective July 30. The board will consider her request during Thursday's 7 p.m. virtual workshop meeting.
According to a meeting agenda posted Tuesday, the members will also consider an action item to refinance two General Obligation bonds with a bank loan. Additionally, multiple resignations and appointments are included for the meeting, which will be hosted on Zoom.
Superintendent Allyn Roche is expected to present his goals for the remainder of the school year, according to the meeting agenda provided by Gisele McCabe, his administrative assistant.
Kassel joined the district in July of 1983. She graduated from Ursinus College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration.
