A look at this past week's holiday events

Officers from the Upper Perk, East Greenville, and Marlborough police depart-
ments gather on Dec. 12 to pass out Christmas meals and gift cards to 13 children
througout the Upper Perkiomen Valley. They dropped off food and gift cards to
nine families in need. The event took the place of the annual Shop With a Cop
program this year.

The Eastern Berks Regional Fire Depart-
ment toured with Santa throughout their
coverage area on Saturday.

The Festival of Lights Show, benefitting the Gilbertsville Area Community Amb-
ulance Services and located on Jackson Road in Douglas Township, uses over
200,000 lights in the display. Due to its' polularity, the show has been extended
through Jan.2, 2021.

Members of the Upper Perkiomen Valley Lions Club traveled throughout the
Upper Perkiomen Valley Saturday morning, delivering holiday fruit baskets to
285 senior citizens.
