Betty Mae (Marks) Youse
2020-11-02

            Betty Mae (Marks) Youse, 70, of Mohrsville, formerly of Hereford, wife of

Jake Youse, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

            Born in West Rockhill Twp., Bucks Co., she was the daughter of the late Leroy Marks Sr. and Hannah (Lesher) Marks.

            Betty was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Old Zionsville, PA and a social member of the Hereford Fire Company. She worked as a fitness instructor at Curves for 12 years.

            Surviving with her husband of 48 years is stepson Robert Youse, husband of Karen; brothers Leroy Marks Jr., husband of Marlene and Charles Marks Sr., husband of Linda; sister Dorothy Sivco; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.   Along with her parents she is predeceased by stepson Ronald Youse; stepdaughter Terry (Youse) Michener; sister Marie Adam; and brothers-in-law Michael Sivco and Leo Adam.

            A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 1020 E. Phila. Ave., Gilbertsville with visitation from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be private and at a later date.

            In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to the Hereford Vol. Fire Co., PO Box 7, Hereford, PA 18056
