Municipalities, UPSD to Hold Electronic Meetings

            Beginning later this week, elected officials from multiple municipalities and members of the Upper Perkiomen School Board hope to resume their public meeting schedule. Elected officials from New Hanover, East Greenville, Hereford and Marlborough, along with the school board, plan to convene electronically.

            On Thursday in New Hanover, residents can electronically join the township's board of supervisors meeting at 6:30 p.m. from their computer, tablet or smartphone at https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/143134941. They can also dial in via phone at 1-312-757-3121 and enter the access code: 143-134-941. Submit comments before or during the meeting via email at jgwynn@newhanover-pa.org.  The meeting can also be viewed on Facebook by using the following link: https://www.facebook.com/NHTParksRec.

            The township's Municipal Authority meeting, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on April 15, can be accessed at https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/460509501 or by dialing 1-786-535-3211 and enter the access code: 460-509-501. Submit comments before or during the meeting via email at grapp@newhanover-pa.org.

            East Greenville council is scheduled to hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday. The agenda will be posted on the borough's website by 5 p.m. on Friday.  A link to the video feed https://us04web.zoom.us/j/649219187 will be posted on the website.

           If this is the first time you have used Zoom, the link may direct you to a website to download the application. Please follow the instructions to install it. If you have already downloaded the application, the link will redirect you to the application itself. Please follow the instructions. If necessary, "join" the meeting with ID: 649 219 187

           It is recommended that you download the application in advance of the meeting time.

            Hereford Township will hold its board of supervisors meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday on Zoom. For more information visit the municipality's Facebook page.

            Marlborough's board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. on April 8 on Zoom.us, which is free to the public. The link to the meeting is https://zoom.us/j/882937765. The meeting ID is 882 937 765. To join the meeting, click https://zoom.us/j/882937765.

            The Upper Perkiomen School Board will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 9. Details about how to access/participate will be posted on the district's website early next week, according to Nicole Gum, the district's communication specialist.

            Additionally, the Facilities Committee is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 16. The Finance Committee will be held at 6:40 p.m. on Monday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m. All other committee meetings for April have been cancelled, according to the email message from Gum.
