Police asking for the public's help
The Upper Perk police are investigating the report of two burglaries this week on Railroad Street in Pennsburg. According to Chief Joe Adam Jr., someone broke into Pennsburg Auto Body and Mayer Motors in the early morning hours of June 10. Law enforcement officials continue searching for four potential suspects identified by security cameras, according to the chief.
The actors initially caused substantial interior damage to Pennsburg Auto Body, located at 408 Railroad Street, after breaking in around 2 a.m., according to Adam. He said they vandalized the office, workspace and a classic Ford Mustang.
Then, they ransacked the office at the used car lot at 407 Railroad Street, according to the chief. He said it is unknown if anything was taken.
The incidents are currently being investigated by the Upper Perk police and the state police. Adam requested that anyone in the area willing to turn over video surveillance should contact the local authorities at (215) 679-8203.
