For more than a decade, the John B. Haines IV Estate in Marlborough Township has played host to a winter exhibit of logging demonstrations.

Logging enthusiasts have gathered there to show their skills and visitors flock to watch and ask questions.

event to see antique equipment cutting, splitting, and milling wood the way it was done decades ago.  Modern equipment was on display as well.

Visitors mulled around the outdoor displays taking in the sights of craftsmen going about their chores using saws from years-gone-by.  A warm bon-fire provided a nice respite for those wishing to spend a little more time outside.

Hot coffee, donuts, and plenty of other food and beverages were available in the spacious showroom on the estate, housing a collection of antique trucks, vehicles, and other equipment.

The annual event brings back a bygone era and allows visitors to witness the skill of the loggers and woodworkers, and the tools they use – old and new.
