Gerald "Jerry" Brent Benner Sr.
2018-12-14

            Gerald "Jerry" Brent Benner Sr. Passed away in his home on December 13,

2018 with his family by his side. He was born on March 5, 1943 in Sellersville to Esther Delp Hendricks Benner and the late Wilson Lewis Benner.

            Jerry was a United States Army Veteran who took pride in his 16 years of service. In his younger years, he loved working on and racing motorcycles and cars. In his older years Jerry loved his animals, going to his beach house, going boating, and watching his youngest son Austin play baseball and soccer.

            Jerry was often found laughing or making others laugh with a cigarette in one hand coffee in the other. He will surely be missed.

            Jerry was the proud father of daughters Jennifer Paziora-Benner wife of Kara of Boyertown, Corina Benner of Philadelphia and Anne Benfield of Boyertown partner of Josh Mathias, and sons Brent Benner of Alburtis husband to Sandra, and Austin Benner of Boyertown. He is also survived by his wife Tawney Famous-Benner as well as grandchildren Laney Benfield, Rylee and Wyatt Benner. He is also survived by his brothers Gregory and Eric and a sister Janice "Dolly" Wieder. He is predeceased by his brother Eugene Wilson Benner.

            All are invited to gather from 10 – 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. and he will be laid to rest in Delp Cemetery in Harleysville with military honors.
