Anna P. Rickert
2018-11-08

            Anna P. Rickert, 96, of the Birches, and formerly of Red Hill, passed away

November 2, 2018.  She was the widow of Victor Rickert Jr. Born in Vandergrift, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Sadora) Gardian.

            As a young woman, Anna worked as a seamstress for the former Rosenau's in Red Hill. She then was a sorter for the former American Olean Tile. Afterwards, she was a waitress for the Energy Station in Vernfield. 

            Surviving are children: Gregory Rickert, and his wife, Donna, of East Greenville; and Cheryl Frank, of Pennsburg; a brother: Stephen Gardian, of Pennsburg; a sister: Mary Gerstemeyer of New York; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Kerry Rickert, and a daughter, Cynthia G. Miller; and siblings: Joseph & John Gardian; Margaret Young, and Pauline Feninez.

            Services were held privately. The Falk Funeral Home, Pennsburg, was in charge of arrangements.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073.
