Ikuko B. Hakes
2018-11-07

            Ikuko B. (Baba) Hakes, 84, widow of Lewis Hakes, Sr., of Hereford, passed

away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospice 17th and Chew.

            Born in Miyagi, Japan, she is a daughter of the late Shichira and Kiwa (Kondo) Baba.

            She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville.

            Surviving are her three sons, Lewis Hakes, Jr. and wife, Carolyn , Daniel Hakes and wife, Heidi and Mickey Hakes and companion, Jane; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ryuko Nitta

            Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

            Cremation services entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, Pa 18041.
