Quakertown BPW Supports the BPW/PA Project -YWCA

            It was announced on Tuesday, Oct. at the meeting of The Quakertown 

The Pottstown YWCA Director, Stacy Woodland, and

District Eleven BPW Director, Melissa Wieand, at the

Quakertown BPW Club Meeting at the McCoole's Arts

and Entertainment Center.

 Business and Professional Women's Club (BPW) they will be supporting the BPW/PA Project-YWCA for the coming year.

            Club President Rita Woodward presented Stacy Woodland, the Director of the Pottstown YWCA, to the membership on during the meeting at McCoole's in Quakertown. Ms. Woodland shared the many activities that the YWCA provides for the community. They are presently looking to expand by opening a child care center in Royersford. She had provided a list of many items that they could use. The membership obliged by bringing many items for the women and children.

            District Eleven BPW Director Melissa Wieand was there on her official visit for the year. She shared that the District Eleven's five clubs will all provide articles and make children's bed quilts.

            President Woodward also explained the 'Birthday Bucket for the Y." Members are encouraged to make a donation during their birthday month and all the funds will be contributed to the Pottstown YWCA. The Quakertown BPW was also celebrating National Business Women's Week.
