Arlene R. (Biddington) Cassel, 74, of Pennsburg, passed away on Thursday,

September 6, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Joseph T. Cassel, Jr. celebrating 52 years of marriage on October 2, 2017.

            Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Emily (Wichterman) Biddington.

            She worked as a Sales Agent for DeLuca Homes in Newtown for 10 years before retiring.  Prior to that she and her husband owned a True Value Hardware Store in Bensalem where she was the Office Manager and Purchasing Agent.  

            She will be sadly missed by her husband; brother, Vernon Biddington, Jr. and his wife, Frances of New Hope; granddaughter, Lauren Emily Cassel of Wallingford, CT and several nieces and nephews. 

            Along with her parents, she is predeceased by two sons, Joseph T. Cassel, III and Jason D. Cassel.

            Family and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
