Quakertown Farmers Market Kicking Off Winter Coat Drive

Free concert series continues with four more concerts

 

            The Quakertown Farmers Market's 23rd Annual Winter Coat Drive kicks off on Friday, September 7th and goes until Sunday, October 21st. The Market is asking everyone to clean out their closets of gently used coats that are no longer needed. Gently used coats that are clean and still in good repair can be brought to the Market Office, located at Exit #4. All coats collected will go to our local Salvation Army to help our needy neighbors stay warm this winter.

            The Quakertown Famers Market's Concert Free Series continues Saturday, September 15th with Off"R" Rockers. Off "R"Rockers is a cover band from Southern New Jersey playing Classic Rock, Blues, Oldies, Southern Rock and Country. Tool Shed is here to perform their Traditional Folk Music on Sunday, September 16th from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, September 29th brings us The Argon Red band from Portland, Maine.  This Alternative Rock group is stopping by the Qmart as part of their Summer Tour. The band will take the stage from 1 – 3 p.m. And on Sunday, September 30th is the Cover Band Low Totem from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

            Ott's Silent Auction Dept. #228A at the Quakertown Farmers Market is holding a Live Tailgate Auction on Friday, September 15th starting at 5 p.m. The tailgate auction will have numerous vehicles lined up filled with merchandise ready to be auctioned. The live auction takes place outside, in the Flea Market area, behind the Main Market. You need to register for the event inside Ott's Silent Auction, Dept. #228A. Please call the store at 484-951-7274 or stop in to get details. This is a Cash Only event.

            Join us for a Special Wrestling Event with the World-Wide Wrestling Alliance on Saturday, September 22nd.  Tickets are $15 for ringside seats and general admission seats are $12 each. Seating starts at 6 p.m. with a

6:30 bell time to get the night started.

            Come out for a night of high flying kicks, back flips, punches and more classic wrestling moves.  To purchase advance tickets, call the WWWA Office at 215-362-7184.
