Dorothy M. Schwenk
2018-09-04

            Dorothy M. Schwenk, 89, of Perkiomenville, passed away September 2, 2018. 

She was the widow of Howard E. Schwenk.  Born in Perkiomenville, she was a daughter of the late Robert & Edna (Kolb) Faust. 

            Dorothy was employed by Knoll's for over 20 years, retiring in 1992.

            She was a member of Peace in Zion United Church of Christ, Zieglerville.  Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her daughter, especially going on cruises and visiting the Matterhorn in Switzerland and Hawaii.  She was a cancer survivor for 69 years.

            Surviving is a daughter, Annamae Schaeffer, of Gilbertsville; a brother, Kenneth Faust, of Harleysville; and many nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by siblings:  Earl Wonsidler, Robert and Albert Faust, and Margaret Leister.

            Funeral Services will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at Peace in Zion UCC, 204 Big Road, Zieglerville, PA  19492.  Viewing will be on Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg; and from 9:30 -11 a.m. on Friday at church.  Interment will follow at Keelor's Union Cemetery Obelisk.
