Shirley Ann (Bauer) Ciraldo
2018-09-03

Shirley Ann (Bauer) Ciraldo, 83, the daughter of Helen and Walter Bauer, passed away August 26th, 2018 after a courageous battle with a long illness.

Shirley had a passion for her family and leaves behind her beloved husband of 60 years, Edward Ciraldo of NY; four children: Dana Ciraldo (Priscilla) of FL, Laurie Vitiello of CA, Donna Anzovino (Anthony) of NY, and LuJean Sovinsky (John) of NY. Seven grandchildren and four siblings also survive Shirley: Robert Bauer of MN, Betty Wanczycki of PA, Neil Bauer of MA), and Lucy Kelly of PA. She was predeceased by sister Jean Hallman.

Shirley was a talented painter, artist, and seamstress who was accepted at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. For both fun and therapy, she loved dancing (everywhere), the music of Broadway shows, and swimming at her summer home in the Poconos.

Shirley loved to travel - even car camping in a station wagon with four kids and a dog. Shirley was kind, loving, devout, strong and determined with a "you-can-do-it" attitude.

All are invited to a viewing starting at 10 a.m. and a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA.

Visit her "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.
