Grand View Health Receives Foundations Community Partnership Grant for Medic 151
Grand View Health, located in Sellersville, Pa., is pleased to announce it has received an $8,500 grant from Foundations Community Partnership. These funds will support the purchase of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablets for use by our Emergency Medical Services personnel.
Grand View Health Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responds to over 18,000 calls per year.
Emergency medical services require fast and accurate patient care reports to ensure responsive treatment. Standards of care change quickly due to rapid changes in technology. The purchase and addition of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablets are part of a multi-year effort to upgrade and modernize our emergency medical services fleet.
The use of the tablets will allow the crew to complete charts quickly and efficiently while on the road. The Surface Pros will wirelessly log medical history from patients during transport, provide a superior interface with the patient charting system, and allow us to continue providing quality care to the residents of Bucks County.
Foundations Community Partnership awards annual grants through a competitive application and review process.
