Quakertown Farmers June Free Concerts, Grand Opening of B&K Leather and Sprinkles, Antique Appraisal Event and Red Cross Blood Drive

            The Quakertown Farmers Market is excited to announce our Free Summer Concert Series. We will kick off the summer on Sunday, June 3rd with Off R Rockers from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

            This is an awesome cover band playing songs from Tom Petty, CCR, The Temptations and the Greatful Dead to mention just a few.

            Sunday, June 10th Avilion is returning.  A favorite from last year, playing a mix of 80s, 90s, pop, rock and classics. Lorri & James are back on Saturday, June 16th from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. with a Motown concert. On Sunday, June 17th Tool Shed takes the stage from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. with traditional Folk/Appalachian music played on a 5-string banjo and bowed saw. Saturday, June 23rd we have The Good Sams a group out of Bethlehem, PA. The group is a cover band that does a lot of 60's and 70's rock with some old time 50's rock and blues.

            Sunday, June 24th Skip & Chickie will perform from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. entertaining us with a mix of a coustic rock, blues and country. Iron Core Banned, an all original hard rock band from Columbia, NJ, plays on Saturday, June 30th from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. & 6 -8pm.             The Quakertown Farmers Market is announcing the grand opening of two new departments. Saturday, June 9th is the grand opening of B&K Leather/George's Home Decor in Dept. #401. B&K Leather carries a great selection of leather biker apparel, patches, wallets, helmets and more. George's Home Decor has a selection of quality, used furniture. The store will be celebrating their opening with live music and a raffle. On Saturday, July 16th is the grand opening of Sprinkles, a children's clothing store located in department

            On Saturday, June 16th from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Quakertown Farmer's Market is having their 2nd Antiques Appraisal Event.  Located outside Barn One, under the tent members from the Pennsylvania Antiques Appraisers Association will be here to appraise your items and share interesting historical facts and stories.

            Appraisals are verbal only, given on a first come first serve basis. You can bring one item for $6.00 or two items for $10.00, cash only. There is a two-item max for appraisals.

            The Quakertown Farmers Market is joining forces with the Red Cross for a Blood Drive on Sunday, June 24th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Bloodmobile will be parked outside Entrance #18, near the Garden Center. Appointments are preferred, but not needed. You can register online at redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code: qmart or call 1-800- RED CROSS. All blood types are needed, so take time to be a hero, donate a pint and save a life.
