Ruth S. Wunder
2018-04-24

            Ruth S. (Searle) Wunder, 87, of Hereford, passed away on Thursday, April 19,

2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – 17th and Chew, Allentown. 

            Born in Roxborough, she was a daughter of the late William S. and Jessie (Arnold) Searle.

            Ruth worked as a bookkeeper at several local companies.  She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and the Upper Perkiomen and North Penn Senior Citizen's Centers and the Reading Pagoda Motorcycle Club.  She also was an active volunteer for her church, Boyertown Multi-Service and the Goshenhoppen Historians.

            She will be sadly missed by her children, Mary T., wife of Roy Bauman of Pennsburg, Kathleen Ferrizzi of Kutztown, James F. Wunder, II of Fogelsville and Renae A., wife of William Martin of York, S.C.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Along with her parents, she is predeceased by four sisters, a brother and a grandson.

            A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Mann-Slonaker, Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with the Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating.    Burial will follow in Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery, Bally.  Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the services.
