Frances A. Derr
2018-03-26

            Frances Arlene Derr, 95, of Barto, passed away March 22, 2018. She was the widow of Merritt Derr. Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Kulp.

            Frances was a 1940 graduate of Pennsburg High School, and was a secretary for Hereford Township for 8 years.

            She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Church, Bechtelsville. Frances was also a member and past president of the Auxiliary of the American Legion, Post #184, Palm. 

            Surviving is a daughter, Sandra Perambo, wife of Stanley, of Barto; a sister, Mildred R. Kurtz, of Frederick; grandchildren: Joe Gonzalez, Jeffrey, and Daniel Perambo; and great-grandchildren: Lauren and Cameron Gonzalez, and Leaf Perambo.

            Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Home, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements. 

            Contributions may be made in her memory to Shepherd of the Hills Church, 527 Hoffmansville Road, Bechtelsville, PA  19505.
