Soft skills and "Strategies for Success" were the topic of discussion at the UPV Chamber of Commerce's annual March Networking Luncheon. Held at Pizza Como PC Pub on Thursday, March 15, the event featured an energetic presentation by Takisha N. Mundy, Coordinator of Internships and Career Services at Montgomery County Community College. Mundy emphasized the importance of making "real connections" when meeting people and provided a refresher on some "common sense" skills that are not always so common.

          Following the presentation, the 50-plus attendees engaged in a fun and lively game of "networking BINGO." The March Luncheon was sponsored by The Barndt Agency, Inc., Family Caregivers Network, Inc., Moyer Indoor|Outdoor, and Tri County Area Federal Credit Union.

          One of the Chamber's signature events is quickly approaching. The Staff Appreciation Luncheon will be held at La Massaria at Bella Vista Golf Course on Thursday, April 5 from 11:30am-1:30pm. This event is always well-attended, so early registration is encouraged
