Arthur W. Bolton
2018-03-20

            Arthur Wasser Bolton died peacefully surrounded by family at Grandview Hospital in Sellersville on March 19, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Anna Kathryn "Tass" (Xander) Bolton.

            He was born to the late Arthur Auchy and Lydia (Wasser) Bolton in Spring Mount on June 21, 1926.

            He graduated from Schwenksville High School and served in the Army Signal Corp as a staff sergeant in the Philippine Islands in WWII. Arthur worked as a TV serviceman for the former A.M. Schwenk TV Sales, Pennsburg for 23 years.  He was then employed by the Pennridge School District as the audio-visual technician for an additional 23 years.

            He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Perkasie.  Arthur was a former member of the American Legion, Post #397, Palm and the Upper Perkiomen Lions Club.

            Surviving with his wife of 68 years are two sons and their wives, Jon and Mary Bolton of Winston-Salem, NC; and Joel Bolton and April Fry of Portland, ME; grandsons: Michael Ferguson of Macungie; and Karver, Cole, and Chris Bolton; granddaughters: Kate May, Emily Schutt, and Anna and Molly Bolton; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces: Jean Reiff and Monica & Becky Strawbridge. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Jenifer Bolton and her husband Keith Overberg, and his half-brother, Lloyd Reiff.

            Funeral Services will be on Thursday at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 19 S. Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA 18944. Friends may call at the church from 10-11AM.

            Contributions may be made in his memory to the church.
