Updated 3:40 p.m. 

          Police are investigating the possible homicide of a 58-year-old man in the 100 block of Cleaver School Road in Colebrookedale Township, Berks County.  The victim has been identified as Stephen J. Kriebel.

            According to a police report, a 32-year-old suspect broke into the Kriebel's residence and proceeded to a second floor bedroom and struck the victim with a blunt instrument while he was in bed.  Kriebel was then shot multiple times.

            The actor fled in a vehicle and, after a brief pursuit, the actor was apprehended by Boyertown Police after a short foot chase.

            According to the report, Pennsylvania State Police were notified and an investigation, that spans multiple jurisdictions, is under way.  Berks and Montgomery County District Attorney's Offices are involved in the investigation.
