Gladys A. Reck
2017-11-28

            Gladys A. (Klemick) Reck, 95, widow of Francis B. Reck, formerly of

Finland Road, Pennsburg, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.  Born in Shamokin, PA she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Misheck) Klemick.

            She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.

            Gladys was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her children, Michael J. Reck and wife, Darlene of East Greenville, Bernard F. Reck of East Greenville, Nancy A., wife of Thomas Fiorito of Macungie and Janet A., wife of Michael G. Macenka of Coplay; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son, Robert G. Reck; a grandson, Michael J. Reck, Jr.; three brothers, Thomas, Joseph and Bernie and two sisters, Hilda and Marian.

            A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with the Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating.  Burial follows in Holy Cross Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday morning at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041.
