Boyertown Area Multi-Service and Gerhart, Hartman & Ritner Insurance have scheduled a "Community Paper-Shredding" event for Saturday, October 28, from 12 noon to 2 p.m.  The event will take place at the Multi-Service complex, 200 West Spring Street, Boyertown.

            A mobile shredding truck will be at that location, shredding sensitive paperwork and documents. There is a suggested donation of $10 for two paper bags' worth of documents. All donations will benefit various Boyertown Area Multi-Service programs.

            And there is more good news … the Multi-Service staff will be selling mouth-watering Apple Dumplings (from Coventry Parlor/Pottstown) during the October 28^th event. The seasonal favorites are priced at just four dollars each. (Net proceeds from the Apple Dumpling sales will benefit paperback book mailing costs for "Operation Paperback.")
