Marlyn K. (Gilbert) Christman, 79, of Pennsburg, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Pennsburg Manor.  She was the wife of Arlen B. Christman.

            Born in Green Lane, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd B. and Marian (Kulp) Gilbert.

            Marlyn was employed at the Red Hill Savings and Loan, Hill Financial and the R.T.C.  She was a member of Saint Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pennsburg where she was active on various committees, and was a member of the Upper Perkiomen Lioness Club. 

            She enjoyed the weekend trips to their mountain home, visiting with friends and family, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She retired from the Stauffer Manufacturing Company.

            Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Ryan, husband of Judith Christman of Whitehall; and Renae, wife of Craig Nealy of Barto.  Also surviving are four grandchildren; Laura, wife of Bradley Csontos of Fogelsville, Sarah, wife of Dino Barone of New Tripoli, Ethan Nealy and Grant Nealy, of Barto; five great grandchildren, a niece and nephew and sister, Cherolyn, wife of Dale Drake of Mohnton.

            Relatives and Friends were invited to attend her Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Saint Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 81 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA 18093.

            A viewing was held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.  Interment was in the church cemetery.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
