Richard B. Sell
2017-10-23

            Richard B. Sell, 83, of Pennsburg, passed away October 19, 2017.  He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Stilwagon) Sell.  They were married 61 years this past March. Born in Telford, he was a son of the late Charles Burgstresser and Erma (Barndt) Sell and adopted son of the late Harry W. Sell.

            Richard began upholstering at Knoll Furniture in 1954, eventually becoming a senior design assistant until his retirement in 1993.  In addition, he owned Sell's Auto Trim in Pennsburg since 1964. Richard was a member of Pennsburg UCC. 

            He was also a member of the Classic Car Club of America, the Franklin Club, the Antique Automobile Club of America, and the Avanti Owners Assn. International.  He was a fire policeman for Pennsburg.

            Surviving with his wife, is a daughter, Cindy L., wife of Dale Gery, of Red Hill; and siblings: Clair "Sonny" Sell, and his wife, Georgianna; Barry Sell, and his wife Gail; William Sell, John Sell, Margaret "Peggy", wife of Clark Goodell; Dawn Nase, Donna Montgomery, and Franklin Sell; many nieces and nephews, grandsons Adam and Dustin Gery; and a great-grandson, Larkin.  He was pre-deceased by a brother, Terry Sell.

            Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg.  A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m.
