Dr. Peter M. Cianfrani Sr.
2017-10-02

            Dr. Peter M. Cianfrani Sr., 70, of Green Lane, passed away unexpectedly

on September 26, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Leah J. (Pifer) Cianfrani. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Margaret (Mandarino) and Victor E. Cianfrani Sr.

            He was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine. Dr. Cianfrani served the Upper Perkiomen Valley as a Family Physician for the past 40 years. He was a member of the AMA, a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, and was a past member of the Board of Directors of St. Luke's University Hospital in Quakertown.

            Along with his wife Leah, he is survived by his sons: Peter M. Jr. of Green Lane, Jonathan E. (Naho) of Brooklyn, NY, and Matthew T. of Bern, Switzerland; and siblings, Victor Jr. of New Jersey, and Michael J. of California.

            A celebration of his life will be held at 4 PM, Saturday, October 7th, at the Upper Perkiomen Valley YMCA, 1399 Quakertown Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073. All are invited to visit with the family from 2 PM. Please visit his "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.

            In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dr. Peter M. Cianfrani, Sr. may be made in support of "Suicide Prevention and Education" at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
