William S. Breunig, Jr.
2017-09-18

            William S. Breunig, Jr., 75, husband of Sandra K. (Kraft) Breunig, of East

Greenville, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 in St. Luke's Hospice House. He and his wife celebrated 57 years of marriage on September 4th.

            Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clara M. (Hildenbrand) and William S. Breunig, Sr.

            He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and worked as a Diesel Mechanic and Truck Driver for Reichenbach of Allentown for 30 years.   

            He attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church and was a member of the East Greenville Fire Co., The Owl's Nest #1874, the American Legion Post 184 and the Teamster's.  He enjoyed boating, fishing, NASCAR, hunting, steam engines, tractor pulls and attending engine shows.

            Surviving along with his wife are two daughters, Kim A., wife of Jim Yoder of Macungie and Kelly A., wife of Jay McDaniel of Freeland; a brother, Donald Breunig and wife, Judith of Emmaus; 5 grandchildren, Stacy, Lindsey, Rachel, Brandon, Kaitlyn; two step-grandchildren, Casey and Jake; a great grandson, Brantley and many nieces and nephews.

            A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Luke's Hospice House, 2455 Black River Road, Bethlehem, PA  18105.
