Harold R. Moser
2017-09-17

            Harold R. Moser, 91, of Frederick and formerly of Barto, passed away

September 14, 2017.  He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma (Hoffman) Moser and the late Alma (Rauch) Moser.  Born in Niantic, he was a son of the late Howard and Sallie (Renninger) Moser. 

            Harold was a self-employed dairy farmer in Niantic for 40 years.  He was a member of the Farm Bureau, and was a Delegate for the Eastern Milk Producers.  He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, in Niantic where he served on church council.  Harold was also a former member of the Boyertown Odd Fellows.

            Surviving are children:  Gordon, and his wife, Sandra Lee, of Barto; Karen, wife of Terry L. Haas of Boyertown; Robert, and his wife, Terry; and Denise, wife of Thomas Witman, all of Barto; Sharon Moser and Valerie Moser and her fiancée Scott R. Dolla Sr., of Linfield; and Arlen, and his wife, Sharon, of Oley; siblings: Arlene Delp, of Barto; Clarence, and his wife Doris; Russell, and his wife, Grace; Howard, and his wife Barbara; Richard; and Dorothy Willing, all of Frederick; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.  He was pre-deceased by children:  Carol Ann and Harold Jr.; a great granddaughter, Kira; and a brother, Leroy.

            Funeral Services will be on Tuesday at 11 AM. at Christ Niantic Church, 222 Niantic Road, Barto.  A Viewing will be from 9:30 AM.  The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg is in charge of arrangements.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Union Cemetery Assn., 222 Niantic Rd., Barto 19504.
