Eric G. Svenson, 92, of Dillsburg, and formerly of Roxborough of Red Hill,

PA, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.  Eric was the widower of Frances D. Svenson.

            He was born March 9, 1925, in Hartford, CT, the son of the late Carl and Alma (Johanssen) Svenson.

            Eric was a retired accountant for American Can Company in Philadelphia. He also was a former volunteer at St. Lukes Hospital, Quakertown. Eric served his country in the Merchant Marines and U.S. Coast Guard during W.W. II. 

            He is survived by one son, Eric M. Svenson of North Lewisburg, OH; two daughters, Lynne S. Maclay of Dillsburg, Gale S. Phillips of Boca Raton, FL; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. 

            A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
