Michael Gerrits
2017-08-14

            Michael Gerrits, 66, of East Greenville lost his battle to cancer on July 25th.


            Mike was born in Appleton, Wisconsin; graduated from Appleton West; and was a Viet Nam Veteran.

            He worked for Global Advanced Metals.  He enjoyed Texas Holdem, golf, bowling, and was an avid reader.

            He is survived by wife Linda, of 43 years; daughter Michelle (John) Reynolds, of Merrimac WI.; son Christopher (Heather) of East Greenville; the joys of his life grandchildren Aiden and Sidney; mother, Lois; brothers and sisters Diane (Ken) Mader, Ronald (Karen) Richard, Dennis (Bobbie), Barb Kasper and Susan (Glen) Tellock; and brothers and sisters-in-law Ruth (Greg) Erickson, Michael Paulson, Louise Redzinski and Sharon Paulson; and by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

            Mike was preceded in death by his father Eugene, father and mother-in-law Leslie and Ruth Paulson, brothers and sister-in-law Noreen Gerrits, Mark Grishaber, Leslie Paulson, Jr. Larry and Linda Madson, and Gerald Redzinski and niece Lisa Witt.

            Funeral was July 28th

            There will be a small gathering at East Greenville Firehouse on August 31 from 5 – 7 p.m., before Texas Holdem.
