Joan M. Marks
2017-08-10

            Joan M. Marks, 85, of East Greenville, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2017. She was the widow of Marvin Marks, who passed in 2013. Born in Red Hill, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Pearl (Seascholtz) Bieler.

            Joan was a Dental Assistant and Receptionist for Dr. Reese and then Dr. Atno in Pennsburg. She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pennsburg. Joan enjoyed dancing, sewing, and watching her grandchildren's dance recitals and sporting events.

            Joan is survived by her daughter Charmaine, wife of James Krauss of Zionsville; her step-daughter: Bonadeen, wife of Douglas Thompson of Virginia; and step-daughter-in-law, Tina Marks of Red Hill; grandchildren: Michael, Scott, Jeffrey, Grant, and Kelly; and great grandchildren: Ben, Sam, Kinsey, Cassidy, Gavin, Tesa, and Jay. She was predeceased by her step-son, Robert Marks, and her brother, Ray.

            Services will be held privately. Falk Funeral Home in Pennsburg is in charge of her arrangements.

            Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 81 N. Main St, Pennsburg, PA 18073.
