Mary Ann (Bossert) Sell, 77, of Pottstown, passed away, Saturday,

July 15, 2017 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.  Mary was married to the late Harvey Sell, Jr. for 42 years before he passed away in 2003. 

            Born in Pennsylvania, Mary was a daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Hall) Bossert. 

            Mary was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.

            She was a diehard Grandview Speedway racing fan.  When not at the racetrack, she enjoyed shopping, coloring and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia.

            Surviving Mary are her seven children, Ricky Sell of Pottstown, Harvey Sell and wife, Cynthia of Potter County, Charles Sell and wife, Wendy of Pottstown, Joyce, wife of Robert Hewitt, of Pottstown, Rachel, wife of the late Daniel Houck Sr. of Bechtelsville, Albert Sell, husband of the late Kristina Miller of Pottstown and John Sell and wife, Amber of Exeter; sister, Hannah Faust; brother, James Bossert; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

            In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her sisters, Katherine and Dorothy "Dottie" and a great-grandson, Bryce.  

            A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating.  Burial follows in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg.  Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.  Share memories and offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
