Helen J. (Schwenk) Levy, 80, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of the late John H. Levy who passed away in April 1997.

            Born in Sellersville, PA in June 1937, Helen was a daughter of the late Edward and Adaline (Dunkleberger) Schwenk.

            Helen loved cooking, baking, and shopping at Shady Maple. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her son, granddaughter, nieces, and relatives.

            Helen is survived by one son, Mark Levy and one granddaughter, Jordan Taylor Levy. She is also survived by many loving and caring friends and relatives. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her thirteen brothers and sisters.

            A viewing will take place on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 9:30-11 am at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St. Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 11 am. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
