Opening Today!

The construction on the Route 663 (Layfield Road) bridge over the Green Lane Reservoir has completed and the road is opening today!

Crews were busy removing the detour signs and putting the finishing touches on the span Friday morning.

While that is good news, remember that once you cross the new bridge and reach the intersection of Route 663/Knight Road/Kutztown Road, you'll have to go left or right.

Construction has only recently begun on the Route 663 (Layfield Road) bridge over the West Branch of the Perkiomen Creek and the road is expected be be closed through August.
