Christopher J. Hollister
2017-05-30

            Christopher James Hollister, 26, of Red Hill, and formerly of the

Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away May 26, 2017.  He was the beloved life partner of Laura Smith. 

            Born in Meadowbrook, PA he was a son of Francis Hollister, of East Greenville, and Colleen (Genech) Hollister, life partner of Greg Young, of Roslyn. 

            Chris attended St. Timothy's Catholic Grade School, and Father Judge High School before transferring to Upper Perkiomen High School, where he played basketball.  He was a 2008 graduate. 

            Chris was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.  He mostly loved spending time with his children, family, and friends - especially at the beach and Knoebel's Grove.

            Surviving with his parents and Laura Smith, are his children: Summer, Rocco, and Rex; siblings: Shawn, Jessica, and Nicholas; paternal grandparents: Raymond and Mary Ann Hollister, of East Greenville; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Mary Ann Genech, of Georgetown, DE; Mark and Andrea Smith and the entire Smith Family; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

            Services:  A Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Friday at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 2545 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown.  Viewing will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 1, at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, and from 9:30-11 AM on Friday, June 2, at the church.  Interment will be in Palm Schwenkfelder Cemetery.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for the benefit of the Hollister children by visiting his "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.
