Caroline M. Reifinger
2017-05-15

      Caroline M. (Roeder) Reifinger, 82, widow of Richard H. Reifinger, Jr., of Zionsville, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

      Born in Hosensack, she was a daughter to the late David and Anna (Holben) Roeder.

      Caroline was locally known as "Hosie," having grown up in Hosensack on the well-known Roeder's Dairy farm which served the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia area. She worked at the Flag Factory/Hosiery Mill in Vera Cruz and Boyer's Greenhouse in East Greenville. She retired from Air Products and Chemicals Inc. culinary service in Trexlertown in 1993.

      She is survived by daughters, Karen L. Reifinger and Rachel S. Reifinger of  Allentown, PA; and a sister, Irene Jarrett of Ocala, FL.

      She is predeceased by siblings John Roeder, George Roeder, Elizabeth Roeder-Moll-Bleam, Elwood Roeder and Jeremiah Roeder.

      Services will be private. Contact family for information. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA  18041.
