Elaine (Keller) Slemmer, age 80, passed away on May 7, 2017,

surrounded by family at her daughter's home in Pennsburg, PA.

            Elaine was a resident of Crystal Beach Manor, MD, for the last 8 years and formerly lived in the Souderton area for 70 plus years. Elaine and her husband, Jerry, would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on July 7, 2017.

            She and Jerry enjoyed turning their yard into a beautiful garden, no matter where they lived, and gardening together brought them much satisfaction.  Their home in Souderton was featured on a local garden tour two different years.

            She grew up with her 6 siblings and parents (Stanley and Betty Keller, predeceased) in Franconia Township. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Slemmer, Crystal Beach, MD.; her daughter, Teresa (Slemmer) Bossert, and husband, Don, Pennsburg, PA; a son, Troy Slemmer, and his wife, Karen, Telford, PA. Her joy and delight was being with her 8 grandchildren. Elaine loved being with family, including her many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her.

            Elaine was employed by Shelly's, Souderton, PA, for many years. She enjoyed interacting with customers and her generous smile and organizational skills were admired by them.

            Sympathy to the family can be expressed from 11am to 1pm, followed by a Memorial service at 1pm, Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA. 18969, on Friday, May 12, 2017.
