Betty F. Volk
2017-05-09

            Betty F. Volk, 88, of Green Lane, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Pennsburg Manor in Pennsburg, PA.  She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence H. Volk, Jr. who died in 1987.

            Born in New Hanover Twp., PA, she was a daughter of the late Alberta (Haas) Stauffer.

            Mrs. Volk was one who loved God, had a thankful spirit, and found joy in everything, especially in giving to others.  A homemaker, she loved reading, nature, cooking, and her dogs.

            She is survived by two daughters:  Donna A. Lettko and her husband Rev. Frank of Philadelphia, Deborah L. Volk of Green Lane, four grandchildren:  Catherine, Micah, Bethany, Joseph, two great grandchildren:  Isabella and Chloe, two brothers:  Francis Stauffer of the Poconos, Donald Stauffer and his wife Sharon of Red Hill, three sisters:  Shirley Nester and her husband Mervin of Delaware, Gladys Spivy of Jackson, NC, Joyce Hess and her husband Dennis of Palm.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn F. Kile, and two brothers:  Terry Stauffer and Ellis Stauffer.

            Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford, PA 18969.  Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in the Trinity Cemetery of Telford. 

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Association for the Blind, 25 E. Marshall Street, 3rd Floor, Norristown, PA 19401.  Arrangements are by the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford.  www.sadlersuessfuneralhome.net
