Robert R. Kline, 74, of Mertztown, died, Wednesday, April 19, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.  He was the husband of Barbara A. (Breyer) Kline, whom he married December 31, 1976.

            Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Edward and Minnie (Dry) Kline.  Mr. Kline was a member of Saint Peter's Union Church, Macungie.  Robert first worked as a knitter at the former Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis, for over 30 years. He then worked 10 years in maintenance for Jacob Schmidt & Son, Harleysville.

            Survivors: In addition to his wife, Barbara of 40 years, two daughters, Denise Kline, Allentown; and Jackie Kline, Easton; step children, Bonnie Galluppi, Sellersville; Donna (Galluppi) Rissmiller, Tampa, Fla.; and Philip T. Galluppi, Topton. Other survivors include a sister, Iris (Kline) Eisenhower, Barto; and brothers, Edward Kline, Macungie; and Gene Kline, Topton.  Robert was predeceased by his twin brother, Richard R. Kline.  There are nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

            Services: Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. from Saint Peter's Union Church, 7863 St. Peter's Church Road, Macungie. Interment in St. Peter's Union Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. in the church.
