Pamela D. “Pam” Burke
2017-03-31

            Pamela D. "Pam" Burke, 63, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully at her home on March 23, 2017 with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Laurence H. Burke, who passed away on December 18, 2015.

            Born February 23, 1954 in Red Hill, PA she was the daughter of Elwood Seasholtz, of Red Hill, and the late Mildred (nee Schultz) Seasholtz.

            Pam was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School, and she received her Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University in 1976. She had been employed at Merck Pharmaceutical Company for 39 years prior to her retirement as an executive in January 2015.

            Pam was an avid bowler, and a big fan of all of Philadelphia's sports teams. She really enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter. Pam will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt.

            She is also survived by her children, Rachel Talley and Larry Burke, Jr., both of Lansdale, her granddaughter, Maddison Talley, of Lansdale, her sisters, Donna Seasholtz, of Whitehall, PA, and Roseanne Olsommer, of Canadensis, PA, and her many nieces and nephews. Pam was also preceded in death by her brother, the late Arlin Seasholtz.

            Relatives and friends were invited to greet the family on Friday afternoon, March 31, 2017 from 3 – 4 p.m. at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446 where her Memorial Service was held at 4 p.m.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pam's name may be made to either the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422, or to the Penn State University Eberly College of Science, 517 Thomas Building, University Park, PA 16802, and would be deeply appreciated by her family.
